Hello there, my name is Halderan Jungler, but some people do call me Iyokin. I have been with the team for a few months now & have been hard at work helping the group be successful. Some of the things I’ve been doing include, helping to add consistency of the moderation of the server, responding to support tickets, helping plan some streams for the future and other tasks as well. Because of my hard work, I’ve been assigned the role, Head of Staff. With that said, I know I am a newer member of Team 84 Official & not many people know who I am, so I’ll start this article by introducing myself and then getting into what the role entails later.

Who is this Halderan Fellow?

So, I am a college student who is going after a mathematics education degree. Currently I am a sophomore in college, so I have another 2 years before I graduate and become a full fledged teacher. A lot of my hobbies revolve around video games. I am a fairly decent Super Smash Bros Ultimate player, who is PR in my local region. For those who don’t know what that means, I am simply considered to be among the top 10 at my local tournament. With that said, I wouldn’t say I am really great at the game, nor am I horrible–rather I am more mid-ranged in terms of skill level. I also play a game called Gunfire: Reborn. We do have some plans to stream that game later if you are interested in seeing what a FPS rougelite is like. Minecraft is another game I enjoy playing. I started playing that game about roughly a decade ago I want to say. For the interest of time, I’ll just list a few other games I have played in the past & really have enjoyed: Final Fantasy I, V & VII, Some games in the Fire Emblem Series, League of Legends, Pikmin 2 & 3, Shattered Pixel Dungeon, Some Pokémon Games and some Legend of Zelda games as well.

I also helped make a feature length film called, To Find A Dinosaur. I played as the antagonists who were Math Wizards. I felt like my performance was sub-par, however I was greatful for being able to claim I have my own theme now so to speak. In fact I actually use it for some of my ringtones when my phone isn’t on Vibrate.

I also like to collect card decks. Last time I checked I had somewhere around 79 card decks. The funny thing is, I mainly only play one card game called Mau-Mau. If you have never heard of it before, there are regional differences for how it is played, but the premise of the game is to get rid of all the cards in your hand. The reason why I like playing this game is because of the main rule me and the people I play with have; that being, when you win a round, you get to add a new rule. I really like that, as it allows for people to really express their creativity & makes each game unique from each other. One of the reasons why I have so many card decks is so when someone wants to be silly and play a subgame of Mau-Mau while playing a subgame of Mau-Mau while playing a subgame of Mau-Mau, etc. etc., while playing a normal game of Mau-Mau, I have the decks for that.

Anyways, I feel like that should be a sufficient amount of information to introduce me to y’all. I’ll also be showing up on a fair portion of streams as well, so if that is something people can look forward to. I am also active on our Official Discord, so feel free to stop by and say hello.

Head Of Staff, What Is It?

So the role of Head of Staff is basically just a manager position. By basically, I mean that is almost exactly what it is. What I do is help oversee all the day to day activity, mainly on the Discord. I also help do support tickets as well. I help to interact with a lot of the other teams and make sure they are working and things are going along smoothly.

If you want to talk to me about something or bring up a concern, I am someone you can go to. You can email me, send a support ticket, direct message me on Discord, talk to me on the Discord Server, and or use our Discord Bot to send in a mod mail.

I’m very active on the server, so if you want me there–ping me. I’ll probably show up soon. One of the things I plan on focusing on is making the server a lively place to be. Some of you might have noticed that I’ll ask like a question of the day to start some conversation. An example of this is, “What is your favorite genre for video games & why?”

Other than that, I also help to get team members the tools they need to help make this server successful. Along with that, I also encourage them to be mentally and physically healthy; we wouldn’t burnt out content creators would we now.

Anyways, it has been a pleasure to help Team 84 Official so far & I am looking forward to continuing to work hard at making this a successful team.
