We’re alpha testing a new tool, Let Me Talk (https://letmetalk.team84official.com). This tool allows podcasters, creators, and whoever else to more easily do what they need while avoiding interrupting each other. Let others know you want to talk, dammit.
The idea came from us constantly interrupting each other during recording sessions. So, we decided that since saw an issue, we thought of a solution, and decided to build it then after testing we wanted to release it for others who also experience this common issue.
We plan to expand its features list more in the future, however we want to get it out of alpha first. Alpha, meaning you’ll likely experience bugs, etc. This is a soft-launch.
How does it work?
OK, so how exactly does this work you may ask my dear reader? I am glad you listened to me ask for you, let us explain.
First, you get a room code, amazing right? You give that room code to your co-podcasters, and whoever else letting them join the room.
They then get a “Let me Speak” button to tell you to wrap it up. (No one tell Geoff Keighley this exists)…
Example of it in action:
Are you in?
Wow, just like that huh? Allrighty then.
Go to https://letmetak.team84official.com and click the “Request to speak” button. Create a room and get going!
If you encounter issues, or wish to provide feedback, let us know on our forums. Just note that this is alpha software, any feedback is highly appreciated.
